Sheep, Sardinia
Sheep, Sardinia
8”x10” oil on gesso panel with 1” deep sides. Ideal for framing with a floating frame, or it can be hung with no frame at all. I painted this from a photo I took in 2019. Kristo and I were Rock climbing in Jerzu, Sardinia (right outside of Ulassai) and we were the only people out on the cliffs in a beautiful remote landscape, but we were visited by wandering herds of sheep and goats. It was a dreamy trip and this photo kept popping up on our digital picture frame in the living room while I was stuck at home taking care of a new baby and a toddler this year. I kept thinking it would make a nice painting, so here you go! It’s a good memory for me
